Texts, images, film infos and entry fee must be uploaded and paid via WITHOUTABOX.COM MIFF Awards section. Please note that only DVDs film screeners of the film, must be physically mailed to the appropriate MIFF Awards office address (*see ADDRESSES FOR SELECTION PURPOSE below).
ENTRY PROCEDURE MEMORANDUM:
#A - Submit your film through Withoutabox.com and provide the following: 1. Director’s biography (keep it short) and high resolution 300 dpi photo. 2. A still high resolution 300 dpi photo from the production and/or from the movie. 3. 100-words synopsis of the film (feature films up to 150). 4. A statement by the director and (optional) 100-words story of struggle and “fights” it took to make the film. 5. (Only feature & documentary categories) Movie Poster high resolution 300 dpi image in a postcard size format (10cm wide x 15cm high). 6. ENTRY FEE:
•Features and Documentaries - 35 dollar, by December 31, 2009 (65 euro, by February 27, 2010)
•Short Films - 25 dollar, by December 31, 2009 (45 euro, by February 27, 2010)
(Additional material other than indicated may be required if the entry is selected for a Leonardo's Horse MIFF Award Nomination)
#B - Mail to appropriate MIFF Office the following*: 1. Clearly labeled DVD copies of the film, titled and with category of submission (to avoid delay or cancellation, please make sure the disc is working properly and it's in the ALL REGIONS standard format, uncoded to be played Worldwide).
MIFF Awards 2010 accepts films completed after January 1, 2009. Please note that: if films have never been shown in Italy - not even at other festivals or events - and so it will be an Italian premiere, there is no completion date requirement.
