MIFF Awards 2010 accepts TRADE films completed after January 1, 2008. Please note that: if films have never been shown in Italy - not even at other festivals or events - and so it will be an Italian premiere, the date of completion does not matter anymore. To apply a CORPORATE film there is no completion date requirement.

Here below the Terms and Conditions of Entry to which all Corporate and Trade film applicants must agree in general. For "Haute Couture Cinema" category terms and conditions of Feature films apply.

1. Non-profit Cultural Association Made in Milan reserves the right to exhibit the Corporate and Trade film entries nominated for MIFF Awards to the jury and to a public audience during the festival dates.

2. Non-profit Cultural Association Made in Milan reserves the right to exhibit the Corporate and Trade film entries nominated for MIFF Awards on MIFF and sponsors of said category web sites during the festival dates.

3. Corporate and Trade films announced as the Nominee Films will be provided with one (1) Hotel room by Made in Milan Association to be able to participate at the Award Ceremony.

4. In case a 35mm film-print is available and, if possible, the candidate would like to show it in that format, the Association will not be responsible for the shipping of the 35mm film-print. The entrants are responsible for delivering the exhibition 35mm film-print to and from the festival venue and will be responsible for all other associated shipping costs (ie. promotion materials, etc.).

5. DVD submitted for selection previews will not be returned. Please, do not send your original.

6. Missing information may delay processing of application. Entries will not be considered unless the submission is completed and the entry fee is paid online at WITHOUTABOX.COM.

7. In the Trade Category Films, the titles made before January 1, 2008 are not eligible to be nominated for MIFF Awards. The on-air/communication plan of a real ad-campaign is not requested, but it's an influential factor in the process of nomination selection.

8. Submissions must be completed on WITHOUTABOX.COM MIFF Awards pages no later than Jan. 31, 2010; late submissions must be received no later than Feb. 28, 2010. Work-in-progress will be considered only if a “first cut” can be previewed.

9. More than one entry may be submitted by a single applicant. An Entry Form, a corresponding Entry Fee on WITHOUTABOX.COM and a WAB code (to be written on the DVD screener of the film) must accompany each and every entry.

10. In addition, the Association reserves the right to screen the films at any Made in Milan-hosted or partner event internationally.

11. Films submitted must provide press kit material as set forth in the WITHOUTABOX.COM submission process, and in the Memorandum Page. For "Haute Couture Cinema" category please follow the Feature Films Memorandum page.

12. Film produced in languages other than Italian/English must have legible Italian and English subtitles. 15. IMPORTANT: all non-Italian films must follow the procedure to be imported temporarily for Cultural porpuse. Please inquire at your expedition companies on regulations for clearing films and videotapes through Italian customs with the minimum charge.
