MY WAY begins with the conventional 'small-town girl livin' in a lonely (corporate) world.' Yet instead of taking the midnight train, Rebekah Starr trades her pants-suit for a Les Paul, grabs her sassy Estonian tambourine-banging sidekick and hits the highway--destination: Sunset Strip. When Rebekah's marriage falls apart in real time, we realize that her dream is not a whim. It is a burning passion for music that comes with its share of real world sacrifices. Thanks to support from her newfound rock'n roll legend friends such as Steven Adler (Guns N'Roses) and Rikki Rockett (Poison), Starr re-commits to her mission and accomplishes what she set out to do. Her contagious optimism acts as the film's through line, hoping to inspire anyone feeling trapped by their circumstances.

Dominique Mollee, born and raised in The Netherlands, started out as a video reporter, but soon discovered she wanted more. She moved to Hollywood, California to pursue film and got her degrees in Cinematography and film/video production, directing and acting at New York Film Academy, Universal Studios.
At NYFA she met her film partner in crime; Vinny Sisson. With their shared love for Tony Scott type of cinematography, Dominique and Vinny were a work match made in heaven and their many film projects soon developed into Hollywood based production company Nine22Ideas.
Dominique got involved in co-directing 'My Way' when multi talented singer Rebekah Starr turned up to Nine22ideas one day, asking to make a documentary out of the footage of her exhilarating road trip from small town Kittanning to star studded Hollywood.
Two years later, after a load more adventures of Rebekah Starr Band in LA and after interviews with rockstars Steven Adler (GunsNRoses) Rikki Rockett (Poison), screen legend Ron Jeremy and New York based writers Lynn Cronin and Howard Fine, 'My Way' was a feature length roller coaster ride that both entertains and wakens up your inner drive to chase your dreams."
