Thirty year old British broker Nicholas Winton came to Prague in 1938 and the following year risked much in organizing a number of transports which carried 669 Jewish children abroad, outside the reach of Nazi power. The world learned of his feat some 50 years later. The story is told through the characters of the fictional Silberstein family.
