Synopsis
A politically incorrect arty thirty year old finds himself haunted by a ghost-like figure hidden under a bourqa who chases him through the narrow streets of his hometown. What truth lies beneath the unknown, before it may actually get you?

Biography
Giorgio Bonecchi Borgazzi graduated as a Cinematographer at CFP, the Cine-Televisual School of Milan. He then attended Ermanno Olmi’s Factory, Ipotesi Cinema. Between 1990 and 1993 he worked as cinematographer and editor for Videocast, a company for corporate films and commercials. In 1993 he founded his own small production company, Killer Elite Film. Between 1995 and 1999, Giorgio’s shorts entered the official competition at Torino Film Festival and in 1998 he became the first Italian director to be invited by Sundance Film Festival with his short Elvis dead at 58. In 2001 Giorgio launched Vixen srl, a production and post- production company. He then dedicated a couple of years writing awarded screenplays for feature films. In 2004, he wrote and directed the animated short Pepita is on in collaboration with artist Iaia Filiberti. His film Otto Parole (2007) won Fedic Award as Best Film at Valdarno Film Festival and was later nominated for best editing at the 2008 GrandOFF European Awards in Warsaw. Giorgio then directed a 10 episode docufiction for SKY TV’s CNBC channel. In 2010, he returned on set to shoot Urka Burka, a short movie freely adapted from Laura Campiglio’s Novel (“Du Bon Usage de la Bourqa”), premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2010. In 2010 Giorgio also directed Last Summer, launch music video for the Filmakers. He is now working on the pre-production of his first feature film, as well as finalizing new scripts and treatments for future productions.
