Megan Griffiths
Megan Griffiths has been a director, writer and producer in the independent film community for over a decade. Her third feature film, Eden (starring Jamie Chung, Matt O'Leary and Beau Bridges), premiered at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival in Austin, where it won the narrative Audience Award and the Emergent Female Director award. Eden also played at the Seattle Int'l Film Festival, where Jamie Chung was named Best Actress and Megan received the Lena Sharpe Persistance of Vision award from Women in Film/Seattle. Megan's second feature, The Off Hours, premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. The Off Hours (which stars Amy Seimetz, Ross Partridge and Scoot McNairy) went on to receive a Special Jury Prize and Best Director award at Spain's Ourense Film Festival and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for cinematography before securing distribution through Film Movement. Megan recently wrapped production on Lucky Them, a new film starring Toni Collette, Thomas Haden Church and Oliver Platt. She currently serves on the boards of the Northwest Film Forum and the Sustainable Style Foundation, and is an active advocate for sustainable production.
